I took these few shots on a walk towards the end of June. The problem with such close-up shots is they don't give you much of a clue about which walk it was or where. I honestly can't be sure where I was when I took these except it was Cheshire.
The buttercups are staying around for a long time this year. I've been seeing them since May and I'm still seeing them in the fields but they were probably best in late May and early June. I think they're lovely, photogenic little flowers that make lovely tangles in the grass.
I still have a few days worth of shots to edit and publish from the last month or so but I think I've got to my natural end of shooting wild flowers this year and I'm now desperate to get out wild camping in the hills and take some mountain shots. If only the weather would co-operate....
